Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business: hosting for our website and workshop software, email delivery, payment processing, and parts suppliers (Burson, Repco, NAPA) who receive only parts-related vehicle details — never your full contact profile. We do not disclose your information to overseas recipients unless required to provide the service and with appropriate safeguards.
Retention — how long we keep it
We keep quote and service records for at least 7 years to meet Australian tax and consumer law obligations and to maintain your service history. Contact form messages are retained while needed to respond and then archived. When information is no longer needed and not required by law, we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect it
We store data electronically with access limited to the two owners. Our workshop software logs access, uses encrypted connections, and is backed up securely. Paper, if any, is kept locked and then shredded.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. We will respond within a reasonable time and without charge for the request.
